Since the world is taken over by the ipod invasion, we are all trying to get the lastet model as soon as possible, to get the most out of it, to pay for extra storage and at the same time to make it as unique as possible. There are several things that you can change in an ipod so it looks and sounds different. Here we will present only the most common methods of creating custom ipods.

    - The first thing that you could do is buy an ipod that comes in a different color, other than the traditional Apple white. The company predicted the success of its mini player, so they develop many ipod models and color, to offer some diversity for buyers. You can get black or blue ipod, pink or green, anything you think might enhance your ipod experience.

    - If just a simple color is not enough, you can change the original case of your ipod. Here the diversity is truly wide, even if the quality is not as reliable as that of original cases. But let’s face it, who things about quality and time usage when buying new adorable clothes for themselves? The same thing goes for the ipod “clothes” that are truly fascinating in variety and coloring.

    - Another way of changing the ipod looks is to buy both cases and covers, and change them as often as you need to. The cover will act like a skin onto the casing, and it can be easily removed and washed or cleaned, and it can also provide some extra protection to the ipod.

    - If you want just a small addition that can be of great effect, there are many attachable mini jewels for mobile phones that can work just as well with ipods. This is a fit alternative for women, who usually tend to add jewels to everything and anything they own.

If you want to take the entire accessorizing experience one step further, you could even design yourself a sticker for the ipod, and then attach it. There’s no higher level of unicity than that!

Think of all the junk you’ve received (and given).  Don’t you wish there was a better way?  I will show you a better way.  In my opinion the best gifts to give anyone are coffee gift baskets.

We all know that aunt Margaret doesn’t give coffee gift baskets.  I will give you some ideas of what to do with those unwanted gifts.

Everyone has been given a present that is just-not-what-you-had-in-mind.  You can donate it to a worthy cause, or post it on www.freecycle.com where everything donated is free to users.  You may bury the unwanted gift in a box where you may never run into it again.  Whatever you do don’t throw the gift away.

We all know about re-gifting, a risky and often unsavory practice.  Regifting is usually never a acceptable custom.  Most importantly if the individual that gave you the gift finds out.  There are numerous ways to put the gift to use, without the awkward and blatant re-wrapping and passing of the gift.

    1.  Create a “Treasure Box.”  I use a large tote.  Make sure that you put a post-it note on the item, and secure it with tape telling whom the item is from.

    2. Place gifts that are of no use to you in the treasure chest.

    3. Make sure to lump together similar items, i.e. electronics.

    4. Group together items for your re-gift.  For example favorite films.  Take the DVDs, wrap them individually, and put them in a large popcorn bowl. You can add to the theme of the gift by including popcorn.  If you are giving the DVDs to an adult or family, try upping the gift with a nice bottle of wine.  The trick is to only purchase small items that add up to a big gift.  Make sure that you are not giving the gift back to the person you originally received it from.

Now those not so zesty or duplicategifts you have acquired don’t need to go to waste.

If you want to end the nightmare of looking for the right gift consider giving a Gift Basket.  They have plenty of them at Nectar of Life Coffee.

A very popular gift for all is jewelry. What better way to make your gift stand out from the crowd than to personalize it? There are several choices to personalize.

-Birthstone Jewelry-This jewelry can be as simple as containing the intended recipient’s birthstone or it can be a gift for mothers. Mothers jewelry is very popular. It usually is a piece that contains the birthstones for all of her children in a necklace or bracelet. You can also get the birthstones set in a ring and give to Mother for Mothers Day.

Personalized Jewelry – this is jewelry that you can have a name engraved upon the back. If it is beaded or a charmed piece you can also buy the appropriate lettering in charms or beads to have the name spelled out. If you are engraving you may also choose to have a personalized message put on the piece. Personalized jewelry is excellent for gift choices.

Jewelry with Dates – Celebrate a very special time in your recipient’s life? Do you want to include a significant date you are celebrating? Have the date engraved or added to the piece of your wedding, birthday, graduation, confirmation. A gift of jewelry with special meaning will remind the recipient of you forever.

Have your jewelry gift personalized with something meaningful is worth the extra effort because it shows how special you think they are. A personalized piece will stand out in a lifetime of giving and receiving presents. It is so easy to personalize any piece before giving it away. Ask your jeweler about what personalization choices they offer.

Select a message for your gift that is chosen specifically for the person receiving it. Then set about personalizing the gift so that they will be overjoyed to receive the item. For Mothers Day consider a birthstone or piece of name jewelry. Grandmothers may love something like this with several charms for their children and grandchildren. A special anniversary memento can hold your wedding date in engraving. Or thread the date into the design. The only extra effort you put into giving a personalized piece over purchasing a ready made piece is knowing what style you are looking for. Everything else is done for you by the jeweler unless you are stringing or crafting the jewelry yourself.

There is nothing like enjoying something with a bit of sentiment attached for years. It becomes a family treasure and heirloom.
